ABOUT DEVI SPRING

Usui Reiki Master‑Teacher • Energy Healer • Meditation Teacher
I’ve been offering compassionate energetic care and spiritual wellness coaching in the GTA since 2000. With a lifelong sensitivity to the subtle, sacred layers of experience, I bring over 25 years of training, professional practice, and lived insight to my healing work.
I hold a Religious Studies B.A. from the University of Toronto, with a focus on Eastern traditions, and I am an initiate in the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math lineage of bhakti yoga under my guru, Swami B.V. Tripurari. Devotionally, my spiritual roots are grounded in Hindu practice, while my day‑to‑day contemplative life is deeply informed by Buddhist meditation and philosophy. I regularly study Buddhist teachings and incorporate Buddhist‑based insight practices into my personal and professional approach. My spiritual path also includes frequent pilgrimage to sacred sites around the world, which reinvigorates my sense of wonder and gratitude through direct experience of the subtle, unique energies of those places.
As a Usui Reiki Master‑Teacher, I am passionate about understanding how energy moves, where it stagnates, and how to gently guide it back into harmony. I intuitively weave together multiple complementary modalities to create immersive, grounding healing experiences. My training includes:
-
Vibrational aromatherapy
-
Flower & gem essences
-
Chakra reflexology
-
Crystal healing
-
Sound healing & OM tuning fork therapy
My deep love of Sanskrit mantra began in 2001, a natural complement to 30 years of vocal training and performance. This unique combination of lineage, sound work, and intuitive sensitivity informs my mantra and meditation coaching, where I help clients build personalized practices that support clarity, grounding, and transformation.
I completed my Meditation Teacher Training at the Vedansha Institute of Vedic Science in Rishikesh, India. I frequently encourage clients to adopt contemplative practices as a way to bring greater harmony to the mind‑body‑spirit.
Having navigated my own experiences with anxiety, panic disorders, neurodiversity, and chronic stress, I bring a trauma‑aware, compassionate approach to my work. I have a special interest in supporting clients who may not feel fully served by mainstream wellness models.
In addition to my healing practice, I’ve shared my knowledge through workshops on spiritual wellness, mantra, meditation, and intentional living. My writing has appeared in publications such as PanGaia, SageWoman, Circle Magazine, and other spiritual lifestyle outlets.
My work is grounded, heart‑centered, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to practices that support their healing, resilience, and inner wisdom.
Client Reflections
"I first met Devi Spring as a Reiki teacher. The level I and II classes with her were thorough, addressed all aspects of the practice, and had the added bonus of providing in-depth and pragmatic information on dealing with clients both in the flesh and on the energetic level. Her knowledge of the subject matter is profound and heartfelt. She transmits all of this in a professional, clear and enjoyable manner.
Her skill as a healer led me to consult her as a spiritual coach as well, and her insight is like a light which helps illuminate the road ahead. The spiritual work she suggested to help along the way is spot-on. Devi is a resource and ally to help enrich your life and practice."
